Interactive Video Guitar Courses That Feel Like One-to-One Lessons
Is that even possible?
It most certainly is!
And if you dream of taking guitar lessons in person but cannot find the time or the right teacher?
Or you think online guitar lessons won't work for you...
Perhaps you will feel differently if you stick around.
I can assure you that you do not need to worry about finding a teacher anymore and online lessons DO work. I just do them a little differently. My aim has always been to design a system of guitar teaching that works and feels like one-to-one tuition.
That led me to start GuitarJoolz.
GuitarJoolz is all about the learner. Every guitar lesson has a focussed outcome and a real piece of music to learn. A jam tI assure rack accompanies every lesson with a performance piece to perform featuring the techniques covered in the lessons.
Whether it is chords, scales, triads, rhythms, lead guitar or specific techniques and phrases, you will have something to actually perform, not just talk and explanations.
Join now and try one of the courses. Or you can have access to everything with a monthly membership.

This course is simply amazing!
I got all the information I needed for my level (intermediate) and more,
The added value of this course, in my opinion, is the rhythm part, usually, you get good courses only with the lead part, if you want some rhythm tips you get only some beginner concepts, here you have very interesting suggestions!
The other sections have the same quality level.
My feedback is very positive.

Great course- lot of new information for me (self taught )- and well explained.
A key moment for me was when I realised that these triads are all fragments of the the major and minor CAGED chord shapes (not discussed )and map onto the pentatonic and diatonic scales which are used for melodies and soloing. This realisation made it easier to relate the shapes to the scales.
I enjoyed the course and the great examples with backing tracks- lots to pratice.

Julian (GuitarJoolz) was born in England in the 70's. He began playing the guitar at age 14. Armed with a denim jacket, Iron Maiden back patch and long hair he would often practise 4-5 hours a day. Competing with school friends to play Van Halen, Randy Rhoades or George Lynch licks.
Born into a musical family Julian's father was a well-respected guitar maker and drummer. He worked with bands like Wishbone Ash and Thin Lizzy, exposing the young GuitarJoolz to some fantastic guitar-fed music.
Teaching from age 16, Julian has taught thousands of students in person, online, privately and in schools and colleges. He prides himself on an online approach that keeps things as close to real one-to-one guitar lessons as possible.
Musical influences are many and diverse, including Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, Al Di Meola, Angus Young, Brian May, Yngwie Malmsteen, George Lynch, Paco de Lucia, Eric Clapton, Tony Iommi, Tony Macalpine, Randy Rhoades, Jake E Lee, Josh Homme, Dave Mustaine, Marty Friedman, Paul Kosoff, Zakk Wylde, Dimebag Darrell, Billy Gibbons, Paul Gilbert, Dweezil Zappa, SRV, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Kirk Hammett, Joe Satriani, Chris Poland and so many more!
Julian has worked with many bands, both professional and amateur. Brit-Pop's Echobelly, UK rockers Viking Skull and Gavin Rossdale of Bush are just a few. He is a fan of Rock, Blues and Metal but also enjoys Classical, Flamenco and Latin Jazz Fusion.
In his spare time GuitarJoolz can be found in the gym, practising martial arts, doing yoga/qi gong, reading psychology or enjoying nature. If none of those are on the agenda you will find him with his guitar around his neck jamming his favourite guitar licks.
